Details: Our waterproofing solutions include advanced products like liquid membranes, crystalline waterproofing, and cementitious coatings. These solutions are designed to prevent water ingress and protect structures exposed to moisture. They are suitable for various applications, including basements, roofs, tunnels, and water tanks, ensuring long-lasting protection against water damage.
System Benefits:
Crystalline waterproofing products contain chemicals that react with moisture and free lime in the concrete to form insoluble crystalline structures. These structures fill and seal micro-cracks and pores, effectively blocking water passage. This self-healing property allows the waterproofing system to remain effective even if minor cracks develop over time. Studies have shown that crystalline waterproofing can seal cracks up to 0.4mm wide, providing reliable protection against water ingress and extending the durability of concrete structures.
Liquid membranes are applied as a liquid and cure to form a flexible, seamless waterproof barrier over the substrate. Unlike other methods, such as sheet membranes or cementitious coatings, liquid membranes can easily cover irregular surfaces and accommodate minor substrate movement without compromising effectiveness. The seamless nature of liquid membranes also reduces the risk of leakage at joints and seams. Research indicates that liquid membranes offer excellent flexibility and adhesion, making them suitable for a wide range of applications, including roofs, basements, and tunnels, where continuous and reliable waterproofing is essential.
Cementitious coatings are applied as a thick, paste-like layer that bonds to the substrate to provide a durable waterproof barrier. These coatings protect concrete surfaces from moisture and chemical attacks while maintaining their integrity over time. Research demonstrates that cementitious coatings can offer effective waterproofing protection for up to 10 years or more, depending on environmental conditions and proper application. The long-term performance of cementitious coatings ensures ongoing protection and reduces the need for frequent maintenance or repairs.
